When Jeanne was young she
wanted to be a large animal veterinarian. She never wrote a
play in high school or penned an award-winning poem. She was
too busy dreaming of the worlds she read about in her books.
Eventually, she ended up as
an English teacher, not a veterinarian, but she never lost her
appetite for books to feed her soul. It was only after reading
the obituaries one day (yes, she does have a dark side) that
lightning struck. She realized that, when she died, she wanted
her obituary to say something interesting and true.
“Jeanne was a
writer. In books, as in life, demure, helpless women annoyed
her. She wrote stories about women with moxie, and men who were
strong enough to love them for it. Her greatest desire was that
others enjoy her tales of strong women, amazing men and the
fantastic worlds in which they lived.”
Yeah, something like that.
Jeanne is a member of Romance

different states, from the northeast, to an island paradise,
